In October 2023, we will embark on our second trip to Honduras. During this mission, we plan to visit remote areas of the country as well as local schools. Our main objective is to distribute essential supplies and spread the message of love through our actions as representatives of Christ. Our goal is to reach out to over 300 individuals in these remote areas. It's important to note that Honduras faces significant challenges, with 59% of its population living in poverty and over 32% living in extreme poverty. These hardships particularly impact women, who make up the majority of those affected. Additionally, 20% of children in Honduras suffer from stunted growth due to malnutrition. The country also grapples with food insecurity, high levels of inequality, and violence. These issues disproportionately affect women and must be addressed.
