Steven & Nikki Hedgecoth

Pastor Steven and Nikki have served together in ministry for more than two decades and have led Bridge City Church since 2008. As a married pastoral team, they share a heart for making faith practical, accessible, and rooted in real life. Their leadership is marked by a genuine desire to walk closely with people as they grow in their relationship with God.

Before becoming Senior Pastor, Steven spent many years serving as a Youth Pastor, building meaningful relationships with students and families and helping young people grow through everyday, authentic connection. That foundation continues to shape how he leads today, by staying personally engaged with people and paying attention to their lives beyond Sunday mornings. Under his leadership, Bridge City has grown in both participation and community involvement, expanding its outreach and deepening its commitment to serving the surrounding area.

Nikki has spent more than 25 years serving others with care, compassion, and a steady presence. In her role as Cares Pastor, she focuses on meeting people where they are and supporting them in practical, meaningful ways. Walking alongside Steven in both life and ministry, she brings wisdom, encouragement, and a calm, thoughtful approach that has made her a trusted and comforting presence within the church and the wider community.

Beyond their roles on the platform, Steven and Nikki are deeply committed to their family and to the people they serve. They are devoted parents and grandparents, and they bring the same care, patience, and consistency into their ministry that they value in their own home.
