Pastor Steven has served as Senior Pastor of Stockbridge Assembly / Bridge City Church since 2008. He approaches leadership with a steady hand and a focus on making faith practical and accessible
Before becoming Senior Pastor, he spent many years as a Youth Pastor, walking closely with students and families and helping young people grow through real relationships. That experience still shapes how he leads today, by staying connected to people and paying attention to their everyday lives, not just what happens on Sundays.
Under Pastor Steven’s leadership, Bridge City has grown in both participation and community involvement. The church has expanded its outreach and focused more intentionally on serving the surrounding area. His teaching is centered on clear, thoughtful Scripture and helping people apply it to work, family, and personal challenges. His goal is to create a church where people can come as they are, learn honestly, and take real steps forward in their faith.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Steven is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and mentor. He values his family deeply and brings that same care and consistency to the people he serves. As he continues to lead Bridge City, his focus remains on building a healthy, grounded church that reflects hope, integrity, and genuine care for the community.
