Worshiping through Generosity

GIVE

“The thing to remember is that whatever you give probably is an indicator of your personal relationship with the Lord.” Larry Burkett

90 Day Tithing Challenge

Commit to give at least 10% (a tithe) of your income for 90 days. If at any point in the 90 days you feel your decision was a mistake, or that it created a financial crisis, or maybe you didn't receive a blessing we will return your money. Try It!

Tithing

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Malachi 3:10

Tithing is bringing the first 10% of our income back to God. It’s a way to worship God by showing Him that we trust Him with our finances. It’s also a way to protect our hearts from greed. When we bring back to God what is rightfully His, we remind ourselves that everything we have comes from Him.

For New Testament believers the 10% should just be a standard on our giving journey. It should not be the limit.

Offerings are any gifts we give over and above the tithe. As we understand how generous God is to us, we’ll find ourselves wanting to be more and more generous toward Him.
